Bookify + Google Meet

Every confirmed Bookify booking gets a Google Meet link — no Meet account or paid Workspace plan required. It rides on top of your Google Calendar connection.

What the Google Meet integration does

  • Meet link is generated by Google when Bookify creates the event on your Google Calendar — no separate Meet setup needed.
  • Free for both the host and the booker; no Workspace subscription required.
  • Link travels everywhere: confirmation email, the Google Calendar invite, every reminder, and the booker's self-service page.
  • If you cancel the booking, the Meet link goes away with the calendar event.

How to connect Google Meet

  1. First, connect Google Calendar (see /integrations/google-calendar).
  2. On the event type where you want Meet, set 'Location' → 'Google Meet'.
  3. That's it — there's nothing more to install. Google handles the link creation automatically.

+Do I need a Google Workspace plan?

No. Personal Google accounts can generate Meet links from a calendar event for free.

+Can I use Google Meet without connecting Google Calendar?

Not for auto-generated links. Meet links are spawned by Google Calendar — that's how Google's API works. If you don't connect a Google Calendar, set the location to 'Custom' and paste a static Meet link.

+Will the booker need a Google account?

No. Anyone can join a Meet from the browser using the link.
