Group bookings

Workshops, classes, panels — let multiple people book the same slot up to a cap.

How it works

On the event type form, toggle Group booking and set a max attendees count. The same slot stays bookable on the public page until the cap is hit — each attendee fills in their own name and email.

What attendees get

  • Their own confirmation email from Bookify.
  • Their own iCalendar (.ics) invite — they each see it on their personal calendar.
  • The same cancel + reschedule links any other booking has.

What you get on your side

Each attendee is one booking row, all sharing the same time slot. The booking list shows them grouped under the event type. Your calendar shows a single event with the count of attendees in the title (e.g. "5 / 6 — Hair-coloring workshop").

Payment for groups

If the event type collects payment, each attendee pays for their own seat. We never treat a group booking as one bulk payment.

Cancellations

One attendee canceling frees up one seat in the group, not the whole slot. The slot remains bookable until the cap is filled again or the start time passes.

If waitlistis enabled and someone is queued for that specific time, they'll be auto-promoted into the freed seat.

Reminders

Each attendee receives their own reminders on the schedule you configured for that event type. SMS credits are charged per attendee per reminder, not per group.
