Team & seats

One organization, many people, each with their own booking page. Roles control who can change what.

The model

Your Organization owns the brand, the billing, and the team. Every team member is a Seat in that org with their own:

  • Profile slug (e.g. bookify.one/glow-studio/maria)
  • Working hours and availability blocks
  • Event types
  • Calendar + video connections
  • Their own analytics view (on Pro)

One human can only be in one org at a time. To switch, leave the current org and accept an invite to the new one.

Roles

RoleCan do
OwnerEverything. Manage billing + plan, invite/remove members, change org settings, connect payment providers, delete the org. There's exactly one Owner.
AdminManage org settings (branding, refund policy, email templates), invite + remove members, see all bookings across the team. Cannot manage billing or delete the org.
MemberManage their own seat — event types, availability, integrations, bookings — and see the org settings (read-only).

Inviting people

  1. Go to Dashboard → Team → Invite.
  2. Enter their email + role.
  3. They get an invite email with a magic link. The link works for 7 days; we can resend if it expires.
  4. They click the link, set up their profile (display name, slug, working hours), and land in your team.

Pending invites are listed on the Team page and can be revoked at any time.

Adding & removing seats — billing

Each accepted invite increments seats paidon your subscription, with a pro-rated charge through Creem (if you're on monthly) or a credit toward your next annual bill.

Removing a seat takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you don't accidentally pay for someone you removed three weeks ago.

Transferring ownership

The Owner can transfer ownership to any Admin from the Team page. The current Owner becomes Admin. Useful when the founder leaves or hands off the business.

Seeing each other's bookings

  • Owner / Admin can see all bookings across the team in Dashboard → Bookings.
  • Member only sees their own bookings.
  • The org-wide Calendar view shows everyone overlaid (Pro). Use the filter chip to focus on one seat.

What happens when a seat leaves

We don't delete their existing bookings — those stay on the org's books for accounting. Their event types are soft-deleted (hidden from the public page) but retained for 30 days in case you reinvite them. Their personal seat profile is removed.
