Video meetings — Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams

Bookify can auto-create a video meeting link on every booking, so you never paste a link by hand. Each provider has its own setup and a few platform limits worth knowing.

Google Meet

How it works

Google Meet links are created as part of the calendar event itself. There's no separate "Meet API" to connect — once Google Calendar is connected, Meet is available automatically for any event type you set to Meet.

To enable

  1. Connect Google Calendar at Dashboard → Integrations.
  2. On an event type, open Location & video and pick Google Meet.

What the booker gets

The Meet link is included in the calendar invite and the Bookify confirmation email. It's also surfaced in the booking detail page so you can join in one click from the dashboard.

Zoom

How it works

Zoom uses its own OAuth integration — we connect to your Zoom account separately from your calendar provider. Every booking creates a unique Zoom meeting with the host's waiting room + passcode defaults.

To enable

  1. Connect Zoom at Dashboard → Integrations → Zoom → Connect. You'll authorize Bookify in Zoom's OAuth screen.
  2. On an event type, open Location & video and pick Zoom.

Compatibility

Works for any Zoom plan — Free, Pro, Business, Enterprise. Note that free Zoom plans cap one-on-one meetings at 40 minutes; that cap applies to the meetings Bookify creates too. If your event type duration is 60 minutes on a free Zoom plan, the call drops at the 40-minute mark.

Microsoft Teams

How it works

Teams meetings are created as part of the Outlook calendar event itself. Once Outlook is connected and the event type is set to Teams, every booking gets a Teams join link.

To enable

  1. Connect Microsoft Outlook at Dashboard → Integrations → Microsoft Outlook → Connect.
  2. On an event type, open Location & video and pick Microsoft Teams.
Teams meetings require a work / school M365 account
Microsoft only allows Teams meetings to be created through the API on Microsoft 365 tenants (work or school accounts with a Teams license). Personal Microsoft accounts — like @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, or @live.com — can connect their calendar just fine, but cannot generate Teams meetings. This is a Microsoft platform limit, not a Bookify one.

If you have a personal Microsoft account and want auto-generated meeting links, use Google Meet or Zoom for now.

What happens when no provider is set

If an event type's location is "In person", "Phone", or "Custom video link", Bookify doesn't touch your video provider. You can still paste a static link (your personal Zoom room, for example) in the location details, and it'll be included in every confirmation email.
